Experts agrees that in a down economy many contractors will have to close shop and go out of business. The same experts also agrees that the contractor who want to stay in business must be creative, innovative and very flexible in order to stay in business.
AZ Enclosures and Sunrooms started to apply those fundamentals at the end of 2007. Those fundamentals allows us to charge 30% to 40% below the leading competitors and yet be profitable. How do we do it? We structured down our overhead to a bear minimum. We purchase the construction materials at a major discount and our workers volunteered to take a pay cut in order to keep their job. Of course we also lowered our profit margin to a bear minimum.
Recognizing a problem and willing to change allows us to stay in business and continue to service our customers. We welcome inquires regarding construction projects and happy to suggest cost saving options. Call Avi at 602-791-3228 or contact us

Sunroom Contractors

Most of us want to enjoy the outdoors and the sights, sounds and freshness that goes along with being part of nature. But outside the home are things we don’t like: insects, ultraviolet rays, rain and cold. So being very adaptable a compromise with the outdoors is often reached and one of these is having a sunroom.

A sunroom is an addition to the home that enables the homeowner and family to enjoy nature while retaining the comforts of home. This can be as simple as a screened-in porch or, on the other end of the scale, a glassed-in environment.  In most cases it is a room addition with floor to ceiling windows. Many sunrooms have extra features like garden doors and removable doors that can be swapped out with large screen doors. The cost of a sunroom can range from approximately $10,000 to over $25,000 depending on the size, style, added features and foundation requirements.

Sunrooms can use a large number of windows and glass panels in the walls and in the roof to let as much light as desire. Incorporating solid walls and roof the sunrooms designer can control how much sunlight will enter.
Sunrooms and Patio enclosures are an attractive option to add an additional space to a home. Sunrooms and patio enclosures can be used as living space, recreational room, home office, breakfast nook and many other living spaces.
There are two types of Sunrooms and Enclosures to consider. The modular type which is a pre engineered and pre assembled and the Custom type which designed to look like part of the original house. Az Enclosures and Sunrooms which is located in Phoenix, build custom Sunrooms and custom Patio enclosures at a lower cost than of the modular type.
Additionally, the custom Sunroom and Patio enclosure are of a top quality and are approved by all of the homeowner associations in Arizona.

Building Permit for Room Addition, Bathroom Addition, Sunroom Addition, Patio Enclosures, Patio Roofs
Obtaining a building permit for construction projects is necessary and provides a major layer of the homeowners protection. The most important advantage is that only a licensed contractor can file and obtain a building permit. This alone will assure the homeowner that he is an “good hands” and the construction project will done correctly and will comply with all building codes and local regulation. Of course the homeowner have the option to file the permit as an “owner builder” but than he will not have any protection from the people, usually not licensed, who will do the work for him.The most frequent question that we get from a homeowner is “how long it takes to obtain the building permit”? The quick answer is: Depends in what Township, City or County the permit will be obtained. Each municipality has its own building department and therefore, the bureaucratic process will vary from place to place. We at AZ Enclosures and Sunrooms experienced very friendly and consumer oriented building departments that usually process the building permit application within few hours to few days. We also experienced an UN friendly, UN caring and not consumer oriented bureaucrats that prolong the permit process to over 5 weeks or more. That why it is important to work with an experienced and license contractor, who knows and understand the building permit process in all the municipalities in the state of Arizona.

Also the right choice of materials can reduce the overall cost of the patio Enclosure or the Sunrooms. Most reliable and licensed contractors will provide the homeowner with a free design and with a free cost estimate. Make sure to tell the contractor, right from the beginning of the design process, that you are looking for a cost reduction without giving up quality. Ask for design ideas and options to compare price variations. In today’s declined economy, you should be informed of all the options available so you can make the right decision and get the most ‘bang” for your money. HOA Requirements

datePosted on 07:48, February 9th, 2012 by admin

Many of the HOA (Home Owners Association) have very strict requirements and demands that the home owner must comply with in order to obtain the HOA approval to convert an open patio into a sunroom enclosure. For the last 30 years most of the HOA approved the modular type of sunroom enclosures even if the sunroom color did not match the house exterior color. However, lately more and more HOA will not approve the modular type claiming that it is not a perfect match to the existing house design and exterior finishing. The homeowner should know that an existing patio can be converted into a sunroom enclosure by utilizing conventional (not modular) construction techniques that allow us to perfectly match the exterior design and finishing of the existing house. Look at the “before” and “after” photos of two sunroom enclosures. In most cases a conventional built sunroom enclosure will cost the same or less than a modular type sunroom enclosure. Check with your HOA about their requirements before signing a contract or at least, make sure to insert “this contract is subject to the HOA approval” in your contract.
